Free Summer Series on Healthy Living

Beginning the week of June 12th, the Parks and Recreation Department will host a free summer series on healthy living, with events held each Monday and Friday mornings.

Meditation Mondays at the Highland Park Pool, 7:00 a.m.: The mind and body are connected, and Mindfulness Meditation helps those seeking to improve their mental, physical and emotional well-being. Get an early start on Mondays, and join us as we focus on a relaxation and an overall reduction of stress. 

Tai Chi Fridays at Prather Park, 7:00 a.m.: Practicing Tai Chi and Qigong can provide numerous health benefits such as improved balance, improved coordination, increased strength, and increased energy. Tai Chi Fridays is held in Prather Park, 3800 Lexington Avenue. Join us!
