HP Library Offers Online Courses for Lifelong Learning Logo_reverse.png

Learning on your own time now has new meaning for Highland Park Harvey R. “Bum” Bright Library patrons. The Library has two new services, and Universal Class, which offer online courses available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for library card holders. helps people learn software, technology, creative, and business skills to achieve their personal and professional goals. Topics covered in the resources’ high-quality, current, and engaging video tutorials, which are taught by recognized industry experts, include app design, 3D and animation, graphic design, website development, marketing, and more.

Universal Class’ course selection covers over 30 subject areas, many of which offer continuing education units (CEUs). More than 500 courses are available, and all are designed and led by professional instructors to build deeper understanding and mastery of subject matter. Choose from courses on Exercise and Fitness, Entrepreneurship, Arts and Music, Home and Garden Care, Cooking, Computers and Technology, Health and Medicine, Homeschooling, Job Assistance, Law and Legal, Parenting and Family, Pet and Animal Care, plus hundreds more.

Next, click on the link to the resource you would like to use and then enter your library card information to set-up an account in the resource.
