Bernadette Nason
The Highland Park Harvey R. “Bum” Bright Library and University Park Public Library have partnered to bring renowned storyteller Bernadette Nason to the Park Cities for a special storytelling event.

The event will take place on Monday, October 29, at 6:00 PM, at the University Park Public Library, 8383 Preston Center Plaza, Suite 200, University Park, TX, 75225.

Join multiple award-winning storyteller, actress, and author Bernadette Nason as she tells her "Stories for a Dark and Stormy Night," lighthearted suspense stories without the nightmares.

Bernadette Nason hails from England, lives in Austin, and performs worldwide. She’s been a touring artist with the Texas Commission on the Arts since 2002, is a company member of several regional theater companies, belongs to the Screen Actors’ Guild and Actors’ Equity, and appeared in the blockbuster hit Miss Congeniality.

Her stories are brought to life with facial expressions, distinct character voices, vibrant humor, and astonishing energy. She encourages audience participation and always stresses the joys of reading. Join us for a thrilling evening of (not so) spooky tales. Perfect for all ages, but recommended for ages 4 and up.

For more information about this special event, please visit, call 214-559-9400, or visit us at 4700 Drexel Drive, Tuesday-Saturday, 9:30 AM-5:30 PM.
