Contractors

As we manage through the current Health Emergency created by COVID-19 (Coronavirus), we want you to know that we remain available to serve you. The Town offers a variety of opportunities for you to access Town personnel and services remotely. In an effort to encourage social distancing of six feet, we recommend that you take advantage of those online services.

Whether the Fire Marshal is in the office or working from home, you and your subcontractors can still apply for permits and submit plans for review through MyGov as usual. At this time, the Fire Marshal will continue conducting inspections for your alarm and sprinkler contractors, but all such inspections will be scheduled on Thursdays. Based on inspection volume over the past three weeks, there should have no problem working together to accomplish this, keeping your projects on schedule. The Fire Marshal will continue to provide updated information to contractors via email. You may email the Fire Marshal should you have any additional questions.
