Douglas Park, Fairfax Park and Tennis Courts #3-5 are now open.

The Town’s Parks and Engineering Departments are happy to announce that Douglas Park, Fairfax Park, and Tennis Courts #3-5 are now open for resident enjoyment! The Fairfax play field will remain closed to athletic activities and practices until Spring 2022 to allow the turf to establish a strong foundation that will withstand rigorous use. Residents may make their court reservations at www.hptx.org/recreation.

Please note, the Fairfax Courts will be closed on October 15 and 16 so that we may celebrate the park opening with all of you. There will be Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies on Saturday, October 16, at 9:00 a.m. for Douglas Park, and at 10:30 a.m. for Fairfax Park. Mayor Goodwin will open the ceremonies with a few remarks, and officially open the beautiful parks. Reservations are not required, but are encouraged by emailing hrussell@hptx.org.
