Summer Reading Club
May 29 through July 27
Readers accumulate points and electronic badges in Beanstack by logging minutes read, Library events attended, and activities completed. If readers wish to participate in the Summer Reading Club through a paper log, they may register and pick up a log in person at the Library.
When readers complete their Summer Reading Club requirements, they will have a book donated in their name to a child at Trinity River Mission, this year’s Sharing Literacy program recipient. Trinity River Mission serves over 550 students in West Dallas through tutoring and mentorship programs. The Sharing Literacy Program is generously supported by the Friends of the Highland Park Library.
Join the Highland Park Harvey R. “Bum” Bright Library and special guests at these events all summer long to jam out and celebrate all the ways “Libraries Rock!” All events will take place at 10 AM in Prather Park, near the corner of Euclid and Drexel.
Special thanks to the Parks Department for the use and setup of Prather Park and to Christine McKenny and Allie Beth Allman & Associates for sponsoring this summer’s event lineup. You rock!
