Get ready for the Total Solar Eclipse 2024! Whether you are an experienced skywatcher or a newcomer to astronomy, the Highland Park Library invites you to join us for a special presentation by Professor of Astronomy and Physics at Dallas College, Heather Appleby.
Attendees will learn about each type of eclipse, how modern science has advanced our understanding of these celestial events, and tips and advice for viewing solar eclipses safely and effectively.
Registered attendees will receive one (1) complimentary pair of eclipse glasses, while supplies last.
Registration opens Thursday, February 8.
