The Town of Highland Park is launching a new mass communication system called HP Alerts, powered by Genasys, Inc. This system, which is replacing Blackboard Connect, allows you to customize your desired notifications and access the program with an App. HP Alerts will communicate public safety topics, including severe weather, emergency notifications, utility shut-offs, road repairs, mosquito spraying, etc. HP Alerts will go live on October 1st, and Blackboard Connect will not be used after November 1st. All residents are encouraged to sign up for alerts at HP Alerts registration portal.
