In celebration of National Poetry Month and National Library Week, which is April 19 through April 25, Highland Park Library staff invites families and children to take part in a Poetry Share. To participate, please write an original poem and send it to hplibrary@hplibrary.info. The Library will review and post submissions on the Library website through the month of April. Your submissions can be poems, verse, or lyrics.
We ask that children not sign their poems with identifying information, however, initials or grade level are okay.

Highland Park Library staff are available by phone and email, Tuesday - Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., during the Library’s temporary closure to assist patrons with their information needs, answer questions about library cards, issue library cards, and offer consultations on accessing digital services.
