The Town of Highland Park will be introducing a State Mandated Backflow Prevention Program to protect against the contamination of the public water supply.  This is in accordance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Federal Clean Water Act of 1972 via the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (“TCEQ”).

The Town will provide a concierge-style service using a qualified contractor who will:

• Inventory all backflow prevention devices
•  Perform required testing for residential and commercial properties

This streamlined approach ensures consistent testing and compliance.

Cost Details

Testing costs will be billed to the property owner and conveniently included on the monthly water bill.
