Easement Improvement Project
The Town of Highland Park will be initiating a Drainage Easement Improvement Project to reduce localized flooding in select easements.
Locations Included:
- Easement 1 – 4200 Block between Versailles Avenue and Beverly Drive
- Easement 2 – 4200 Block between Lorraine Avenue and Belclaire Avenue
- Easement 3 – 4200 Block between Bordeaux Avenue and Arcady Avenue
- Easement 4 – 4400 Block between Versailles Avenue and Beverly Drive
- Easement 5 – 4500 Block between Belfort Avenue and Bordeaux Avenue
Estimated Start Date: December 2025
The project includes:
- Pre-construction inspection and video recording of site conditions
- Removal of debris and grading of easements
- Installation of narrow concrete flume for stormwater conveyance

Estimated Cost: $1,100,000
What to Expect:
Notice will be provided to residents in advance of any planned interruptions.
Some noise is expected during work hours (7 a.m. – 6 p.m., Monday - Friday, excluding Town holidays). Some Saturday work may occur.
Trash and recycling pickup will continue as scheduled, with minor adjustments as needed.
Construction is anticipated to be complete by late Spring 2026, weather permitting.
