The Town’s Engineering Department is responsible for the planning, design, construction, and inspection of capital projects and improvements for the Town, by performing such functions directly, or by contract.
Capital projects include improvements to:
Roads
Water distribution system
Sanitary sewer collection system
Traffic signal system
Storm drainage system
Other responsibilities include:
Construction inspection and administration
Storm water management program
Floodplain management
Plat review and approval
Subdivision regulations
Environmental services
Geographic Information System (GIS)
Responding to questions and concerns from residents
Address state and local government mandates and compliance
